Physiotherapy is a science-based profession that helps people affected by injury, illness or disability by taking a ‘whole person’ approach to health and well-being. Our experienced Physiotherapists use movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice to improve your mobility, function and strength in specific parts of the body. We consider all factors and not just the site of pain, in order to find and treat the real cause of the problem or disability and to prevent symptoms from reoccurring.

Rachel grew up with a love of sport, which inspired her to follow a career in Physiotherapy. Rachel qualified in 2010 with a first-class Physiotherapy degree from Coventry University.

She has over 12 years experience, working in both the NHS and private practice. This includes working in a wide range of settings including ITU and respiratory medicine, inpatients and musculoskeletal outpatients. Rachel then decided to pursue a career in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and has continued to further her studies with qualifications in Acupuncture and Clinical Pilates.

After having her two children, Rachel had a growing interest in postnatal rehabilitation, particularly in a Pilates setting, and continues to expand her knowledge in a variety of areas with regular CPD.

Rachel is passionate about working holistically with her patients, using a range of techniques and treatment approaches, to suit the patient and their individual needs.

In her free time Rachel enjoys horse riding, running, walking her Labrador Bea and running around after her two children Thea and Teddy.
